Choruss
How Choruss works
Four steps from “we need to collect money” to “everyone can see the final balance” — for any group event, not only housing societies.
1. Create your event
Add the event name, date, and contribution details. Invite people with a link or QR code — useful on WhatsApp groups for festivals, trips, or office parties.
2. Collect group contributions
Participants pay using the organizer’s payment method (for example UPI) or upload payment proof. Organizers see who has paid and who is still pending, without hunting through chat screenshots.
3. Track event expenses
As bills come in — food, venue, transport, decoration — add them to the event. Everyone can see where the money went, not only the host’s private notes.
4. Close with a fair surplus split
Choruss compares total collected with total spent. What remains is surplus. Participants can see their balance so the host can settle clearly and close the event.
Important: money flow
Choruss does not hold the money. Funds go to the organizer or their payment provider. Choruss keeps the shared ledger of contributions, expenses, and balances.
